Meet our Doctors
Dr. Katie Parkinson
My name is Doctor Katie Parkinson and I run a private GP surgery in Hertford. I also provide aesthetic procedures such as anti-wrinkle injections and dermal fillers.
I trained at St Marys Hospital Medical School in Paddington and qualified as a doctor in 1994. I completed my post graduate training in general practice before working in accident emergency medicine for many years until going back to general practice in 2006.
I have worked in surgeries all around the local area until in 2012 when I became the school doctor for Haileybury school. Since leaving Haileybury I have set up my private practice in Hertford.
Dr. Gnanika Simpson
My name is Doctor Gnanika Simpson in addition to general medical services, I specialise in Women’s health and dermatology.
My academic journey includes a background in psychology with a BSc Hons from Sheffield University. Following that, I pursued medicine at Leeds and earned my qualification in 2005. I underwent General Practitioner training in Watford and St Albans, obtaining the MRCGP designation in 2005.
My expertise lies in lifestyle medicine and providing holistic patient care, with a particular focus on Women’s health and dermatology. Over the past 13 years, I've contributed to various practices in Hertfordshire.
While living with my family, which includes two boys and numerous pets, my professional journey has been marked by a diverse range of experiences, culminating in my current position at GP Care Now.
